Financial Controller (Remote)

Silver Lining is hiring a **Financial Controller** to own our bookkeeping, financial operations, and compliance. This is a hands-on execution role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing AP/AR, performing reconciliations, supporting payroll, preparing monthly financial reports, and ensuring all tax and statutory filings are completed on time.
You'll work closely with leadership and external accountants while helping build an AI-assisted finance function. We’re looking for someone who embraces automation, uses AI tools to improve efficiency, and serves as the final reviewer to ensure accuracy and compliance.
**Requirements:**
* Proven Financial Controller or Senior Bookkeeper experience
* Strong QuickBooks Online expertise (ProAdvisor preferred)
* Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and reconciliations
* Comfortable using AI and automation tools in finance
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Success means delivering accurate monthly financials, maintaining clean books, meeting every compliance deadline, and continuously improving finance processes through automation.
