Digital Platform Associate (OPS, Remote-eligible), Institute on Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI)

Department Florida State University College of Nursing Institute on Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI) Established in 2022, the Institute on Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI) within the Florida State University College of Nursing advances digital health science, technologies, and tools focused on solving real world needs of patients, providers, and populations through research, training, and innovation to maximize health. The mission of IDHI is to advance individual and public health through collaborative and synergistic partnerships focused on the development, evaluation, and dissemination of digital health tools, technologies, and innovations. Responsibilities IDHI’s HealthMpowerment (HMP) is a mobile optimised digital health platform designed to deliver health and wellness content to young people. The platform has been used in more than 20 research studies worldwide across topics such as sexual health, medication adherence, and mental health. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has identified HMP as an evidence-based intervention for HIV risk reduction. The platform is actively used and continuously evolving, supported by a team of researchers, developers, and operations staff. The Digital Platform Associate is a hands‑on, execution focused role supporting the day‑to‑day implementation of research studies using the HMP platform. This role combines content development, platform operations, and quality assurance. The majority of work involves building and managing content in the platform, testing features, and supporting study teams. This role may be best suited for candidates who enjoy hands on, detail‑oriented work within structured systems, balancing creative and technical tasks while building and testing content in digital platforms in a digital health research setting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years. Knowledge of public health principles and health education practices. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field such as public health, health communication, or information science. Experience with digital health or behavioral health interventions. Familiarity with research studies or clinical trials. Experience creating multimedia content such as basic video, audio, or visual materials; using tools such as Canva, iMovie, Audacity, or similar editing platforms; and testing software or mobile apps. Experience supporting users or managing participant or customer communications. Understanding of how multimedia content supports engagement and user experience in digital platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues in complex workflows. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfort working within structured systems and following detailed processes. Ability to handle repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy. Interest in digital products, user experience, or content within apps and platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check. Full-time, 40 hours per week.
