Human Resources Representative (Human Resources) – Hartford, CT, United States of America $70,000.00 - $70,000.00 Job Summary The HR Representative is responsible for performing a variety of human resources duties, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and various human resources projects. This role supports the HR department in ensuring a positive employee experience and aligning HR practices with the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Recruitment Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. Handle development and execution of all advertising and communications regarding allocated open positions. Utilize all sources available for recruiting. Plan, advertise and operate Open Houses or Job Fairs for recruiting purposes. Conduct interviewing & hiring to USI company standards. Build talent pipelines. Use social media networks to look for and connect with potential candidates. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position’s requirements. Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles. Contact past applicants for new job opportunities. Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals. Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases. Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires. Measure and report on sourcing metrics. Onboarding Approve and upload new hires into HRIS. Perform regular touch bases with new hires as well as exit interviews. Complete employment verifications as needed. Maintain/manage employee files and I-9 compliance. Track and collect updated resident status and work authorizations. Quarterly OFAC checks. Track completion of SOBC. Issue ID badges as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in a human resources role. Strong knowledge of HR princ.
