Screening Sales Representative - Staten Island, NY

Abbott seeks a Screening Sales Representative to drive adoption of cancer screening diagnostics in the Staten Island territory. The role involves building relationships with healthcare providers, executing territory plans, and partnering across functions to advance early cancer detection.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase awareness and adoption of cancer screening products
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and key stakeholders to identify unmet needs
- Analyze healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to identify opportunities improving patient outcomes
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales Operations to implement customer-specific business strategies
- Document customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence in CRM systems while maintaining compliance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or related field; or four years relevant professional experience
- Two years sales, inside sales, or account management experience; or one year sales plus one year healthcare experience
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and relationship-building abilities
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record meeting company standards
- Daily travel throughout assigned territory; occasional overnight travel required
- Legal authorization to work in United States without employer sponsorship
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
