CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR II

Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) is a second level in the CRC career path within Clinical Trials. It supports the Principal Investigator (PI) in clinical trials by implementing and coordinating research, including administrative procedures at Moffitt Cancer Center. The CRC II serves as the primary resource for protocols, coordinating patient care with medical staff, documenting in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines, and acting as liaison between investigators, care providers, Moffitt regulatory staff, and sponsors. The role screens, enrolls, and follows study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while subjects are on study, and performs core support and additional responsibilities for more complex studies with higher patient volume. The CRC II determines methods and procedures for the coordination of newly assigned studies. Position Highlights Supports the Principal Investigator (PI) in clinical trials by implementing and coordinating research, including administrative procedures at Moffitt Cancer Center. Acts as the primary resource for protocols, coordinating patient care by collaborating with medical staff and documenting in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines. Acts as liaison between investigators, care providers, Moffitt regulatory staff, and the sponsor. Screen, enroll, and follow study subjects in partnership with the investigator, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while subjects are on study. Performs all Clinical Research Coordinator core support and additional responsibilities of more complex studies, with a higher patient volume. Determines methods and procedures for coordination of newly assigned studies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of clinical trials coordination experience. Associate’s degree with 4 years of clinical trials coordination experience may also be considered. CCRP/CCRC certification preferred. Salary Range Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
