Supervisory Accountant

Exercises responsibility for Medical Care Collection Fund (MCCF) through revenue accounting, cash management and patient services activities.

Administers accounting systems designed to track, reconcile, and report on agency-administered programs and/or appropriations for which the agency has legislative oversight responsibility.

Validates a variety of accounting data that is entered to customers' reports, schedules and accounts.

Reconciles general ledger accounts and balances Financial Statement of Allowances to ensure appropriations are accurate.

Ensures the delivery of services in accordance with the provisions of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and commercially contracted services.

Provides oversight to administer first party processes, first party refunds, claims matching, inquiries, first-party credit pre-payments, and accounts for patients.

Develops information systems that provide analytical and reporting capabilities for stakeholders.

Process a multitude of items affecting payment and transfer of funds in accord with policies, regulations and generally accepted accounting and financial regulations.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
