RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Winston-Salem, NC
Assignment Overview
Join our MedSurg/Tele unit as a Registered Nurse, providing care in a dynamic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses, including cardiac patients. You will be part of a supportive team in an academic medical center.
Assignment Details
- Location: Winston-Salem, NC
- Shift: 3x12 Days
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1890 (negotiable)
- EMR: Epic
- Charting System: Epic
- Support includes CNAs, a Charge Nurse, Receptionist/HUC, Phlebotomy, and 24/7 RT, Hospitalist, and Intensivist
- Floating to various departments as needed
Responsibilities
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage PCA pumps
- Care for patients with surgical drains and wounds
- Manage medications including Cardizem, Nitro, and Amio
- Provide standard nursing care and safety rounds
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1-year experience in Med/Tele
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound care, and managing surgical equipment
Preferred:
- Previous travel experience
PEL/VIP Job ID #63652289. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
