Desert Plastics is a reputable company that has been in business 20 years. We are looking for a bookkeeper/admin assistant. This is an important, highly-visible position within our company.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for invoicing, posting of payments, bank deposits, reconciliation of accounts, payroll, financial reports, monthly and quarterly tax payments, purchasing of materials, matching vendor invoices with purchase orders, vendor payments, and administration of company benefits.
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping including payroll processing and tax knowledge. Proven knowledge of the Desktop Version of QuickBooks is mandatory. Interviewees will be required to demonstrate this knowledge.
Experience with Human Resources, Benefits Administration, and Insurance is not required but welcomed.
The qualified candidate must have a can-do attitude with a willingness to help in other areas of the company, such as backup to Customer Service.
The position is full time with a competitive wage and benefits. Normal Hours: Monday – Friday 8am -5pm.
