Accounts Payable & Payroll SpecialistAccounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Location: Albuquerque, NM (Onsite) Pay Rate: $33 to $36 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pmPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail oriented and dependable AP/Payroll Specialist to join a growing organization with more than 500 employees across multiple states. This is a split role responsible for supporting both high volume accounts payable operations and multi state payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working in a fast paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableProcess high volume invoices accurately and efficiently while meeting payment deadlinesReview, code, and enter invoices into the accounting systemReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain vendor records, W 9 documentation, and payment filesAssist with weekly payment runs, ACH transactions, and check processingSupport month end close activities, accruals, and AP reconciliationsRespond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationshipsPayrollProcess payroll for a large, multi state employee populationReview employee timecards, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings for accuracyMaintain payroll records including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and direct deposit updatesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsResearch and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questionsAssist with payroll audits, reporting, and year end processingPartner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll administrationQualifications3+ years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or a combination roleExperience processing high volume accounts payable transactionsMulti state payroll experience requiredExperience supporting organizations with 500+ employees strongly preferredProficiency with payroll and accounting systemsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environmentStrong communication and problem solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial informationPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP, HRIS, or payroll management systemsExperience processing payroll for over 500 employees, multi-stateVersed in high volume AP processing - over 100 invoices/dayPay Details: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour Search managed by: Angela Walton Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
