Diagnostic Radiologist – ABR-Certified/Eligible (Full-Time, Onsite)

The Diagnostic Radiology division at University of Rochester Medicine is seeking an ABR-certified or ABR-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist for a full-time, onsite position at UR Imaging-University Medical Imaging (UMI) to focus primarily on outpatient imaging. Located in a suburb of Rochester, UMI is committed to patient-centered, customer-focused outpatient imaging. UMI is currently home to four MR scanners, two CT scanners, and three x-ray machines, as well as URochester’s Advanced MRI Fellowship training program. While the faculty are dedicated to their trainees and advancing outpatient MR technologies, UMI maintains a private practice culture.

Responsibilities

• Daytime reads include outpatient only CT, MR, ultrasound, and x-ray. The ideal candidate must have proficiency in body MR and musculoskeletal MR, with neuroradiology skills being an optional bonus.
• Predictable weekday evening outpatient after hours coverage schedule and predictable acute care weekend/holiday musculoskeletal imaging coverage with resident support.
• No overnight call coverage
• Weekday evening and weekend/holiday coverage is performed remotely
• Cultivate relationships with referrers and contribute to peri-procedural care pathways as appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care and mentor colleagues, staff, APPs, residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage with modern IT/PACS systems and contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives, if desired.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Starting Salary $555,000 - $605,000, additional clinical and non-clinical incentives may apply
