Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid California Physical Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Familiarity with documentation systems and school-based services
• Dedicated to fostering student success and participation
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
• Creating and implementing individualized therapy programs
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate PT strategies in daily routines
• Monitoring student progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting plans accordingly
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to support student development
• Educating staff and caregivers about mobility, safety, and adaptive equipment
• Promoting inclusive participation in classroom and school activities
