We are seeking a motivated and energetic Individual to join our manufacturing team as a general laborer. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, operating various tools and equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills, gain factory experience, and contribute to the manufacturing process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced factory setting.

Must have prior Manufacturing, fabrication, factory or construction background

Responsibilities

• Assembly and Fabrication: Assembling components like power units and manifold assemblies using tools and fasteners. This may involve welding, drilling, tapping, bending, and grinding metal parts to support equipment fabrication.
• Testing and Quality Control: Applying knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic principles to test assemblies based on schematics and work order instructions, and documenting the results.
• Material Handling: Moving materials and supplies throughout the plant, which often requires operating machinery like forklifts, hand trucks, cranes, and scissor lifts.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area and performing general cleanup duties.
• Equipment Operation: Operating various shop equipment and machines, including power tools, basic hand tools, pipe cutting/threading machines, and metal cutting equipment.
• Physical Demands: The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance).
