IT Advisor - Intelex & HSE Application Enablement

One of our Berkshire Hathaway portfolio companies is hiring an IT Advisor – Intelex & HSE Application Enablement to serve as the senior subject matter expert and strategic advisor for Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Quality (HESS/Q) digital platforms. Role Summary This role owns the Intelex ecosystem end‑to‑end, providing technical leadership, system governance, and solution design to ensure HSE technologies are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise risk, compliance, and operational excellence objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep Intelex expertise, strong technical acumen, and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and business stakeholders to drive adoption, data quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Serve as the functional and technical owner of the Intelex platform across modules such as Incident Management, Audits, Quality, Training, and Document Control Design and manage end‑to‑end platform configuration, workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting, security roles, and data structures Establish governance standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure scalability, integrity, and audit readiness Lead advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and vendor escalations to resolve complex platform issues Integration & Data Enablement Design and support integrations between Intelex and enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, data warehouses, and analytics platforms) Leverage Intelex integration capabilities and enterprise data standards to ensure reliable, secure data exchange Enable reporting, KPIs, and dashboards aligned to enterprise risk, compliance, and performance objectives Strategic Advisory, User Enablement & Change Leadership Act as the primary point of escalation and trusted advisor for HSE application users Provide expert guidance on system functionality, analytics, and data quality Develop advanced user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources to drive adoption and self‑service Provide consultative insights to leadership through dashboards, metrics, and reporting Projects, Enhancements & Continuous Improvement Lead and support system implementations, module deployments, upgrades, and major enhancements Coordinate planning, testing (UAT), and rollout execution Partner with cross‑functional teams on change management, communications, and adoption strategies Contribute to long‑term HSE digital strategy, roadmap development, and continuous improvement initiatives Support enterprise‑wide collaboration and standardized HSE processes Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of hands‑on Intelex platform experience Experience supporting EHSQ / HESS digital platforms Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Preferred Technical Skills C# (backend development and API interactions) Python (automation and data processing) SQL / PL‑SQL (database queries and reporting) JSON (API responses and data formatting) At this time, this portfolio company will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr brk tech, A Berkshire Hathaway Group Company
