Job Description

This role involves assembling, cleaning, and packing single-use assemblies in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will follow detailed work instructions, use basic hand tools, and perform visual inspections to ensure medical-grade products meet strict quality and cleanliness standards in an ISO Class 7 setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble single-use assemblies according to documented work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Perform cleaning and packing of medical assemblies in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Use basic hand tools safely and correctly during assembly and production tasks.
• Inspect components and finished products for quality, cleanliness, and compliance with specifications.
• Follow all cleanroom protocols and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to maintain an ISO Class 7 environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and use it in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Report all near-miss incidents and first-aid events promptly to support a strong safety culture.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities and follow change control procedures when processes or instructions are updated.
• Escalate potential process or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with cleanroom standards.
• Collaborate with team members and support production goals by meeting quality and throughput targets.
• Follow shift schedules reliably and adhere to attendance and punctuality expectations.

Essential Skills

• 0–3 years of experience working in a cleanroom, production, or similar controlled environment.
• Experience with assembly or general production work, preferably in medical device or medical assembly settings.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Basic proficiency using hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspection of components and finished products.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn cleanroom protocols and cGMP requirements for an ISO Class 7 environment.
• Commitment to wearing and correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to identify and escalate potential process or product deviations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or medical assembly.
• Previous work in a cleanroom environment with ISO Class 7 standards.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and change control procedures.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined quality standards.
• Ability to work any of the listed shifts as needed, including extended or weekend shifts.

Work Environment

This position is based in a controlled ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment focused on medical-grade production. You will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict cleanroom protocols and cGMPs throughout your shift. Work involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive assembly and inspection tasks, and using basic hand tools. The facility operates multiple fixed shifts, including: 1st shift (Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:45 p.m.–2:15 a.m.), and 3rd shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.). The environment is structured, process-driven, and cleanliness-focused to support consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.

This is a Contract position based out of Devens, MA.

The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Devens,MA.
