Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose a variety of mental health disorders effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Safe Haven, you will work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of issues, including relationship problems, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role will involve not only individual clients but also families and couples, providing holistic care that recognizes the dynamics and intricacies of interpersonal relationships. Your therapeutic interventions will aim to help clients develop stronger emotional bonds and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling ideal for addressing co-occurring disorders.

• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices pertinent to mental health and substance abuse treatment.

• Demonstrated therapeutic skills with a strong ability to inspire and motivate clients along their healing journey.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2–4 years of experience in outpatient settings, working with various mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
