Manager, Custodial Services

Location: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas Salary: Based on Experience Work Hours: Full Time (40 Hours/Week). Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time Benefits: Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and 401(k) General Job Duties Manage the custodial services staff in the cleaning and maintenance of Goodwill facilities in accordance with expected employee standards. Collaborate with other departments in meeting their custodial needs. Ensure that established methods, policies, and procedures are being followed through practical application. Responsible for the selection, training, and management of personnel. Ensure employees understand work rules and address inappropriate activities/behaviors immediately and coordinate corrective action plans with department head and/or Human Resources, if appropriate, to ensure consistency and to encourage and maintain a work environment that is inclusive and positive. Evaluate employee performance and drive professional development. Manage, prepare, and maintain required records and reports pertaining to quality and inventory control directly connected to ordering custodial supplies and equipment for Goodwill North Central Texas. Oversee the safety of employees and safe performance of equipment in accordance with agency policy and procedures. Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in leading and instructing teams through demonstration. Working experience in managing Custodial Services function. Must have basic computer skills to enter invoices, maintain and order supplies, and perform other requirements of the job. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology. Physical Requirements: Capable of demonstrating and/or performing any job or work assigned to employees. Visual acuity to ensure quality control. Must have and demonstrate mobility. Stands, stoops, walks, and lifts an average of 30 lbs. (occasionally up to 50 lbs.) throughout the working day. Requires operation of various mechanical equipment.
