With two positions available, you’ll have the chance to inspire students and contribute directly to their academic success. This opportunity spans the academic calendar, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 10, 2027, offering you long-term stability.

In this position, you will teach general education math within a diverse high school setting. While your primary focus will be on general education students, you may also have the opportunity to collaborate with special education teachers to support students with additional needs. You’ll create engaging lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards, ensure lessons are differentiated to accommodate formative assessment, and leverage your strong classroom management skills to foster a productive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required (essential for emergency teaching permit)
• Valid PA teaching certification/licensure for assigned caseload
• Demonstrated mastery of the high school math curriculum
• Prior experience working in schools, especially in urban settings
• Ability to complete all necessary PA clearances before the start
• Reliable transportation to facilitate punctual onsite attendance
• Comfortable working between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM with no schedule accommodations
• Skilled in both instructional techniques and behavioral management in classrooms
• Adaptable to district procedures and local school culture
