This onsite contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, totaling 35 hours each week, with a start date as soon as possible and lasting through June 10, 2027.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid certification or licensure to work with an assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree; eligibility for an emergency teaching permit if required
• Prior experience in a K–12 school setting, with an emphasis on special education
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Proven background working in urban schools
• Mastery of related subject matter and instructional techniques
• Ability to align lesson planning with state and district standards, and differentiate instruction
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must successfully complete all Pennsylvania clearances
• Availability during specified work hours; schedule accommodations are not available
• Comfort working within district policies and school community
