Key Details:

• Full-time: 35 hours per week, onsite
• 2 openings; elementary caseloads
• Immediate start through June 10, 2027
• Onsite schedule: 8:30AM-4PM—schedule accommodations are not available

Qualifications:

• Active certification/licensure is required for assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree necessary to obtain emergency teaching permit
• Prior experience within a school setting is essential
• Demonstrated success supporting students in urban environments
• Mastery of special education subject matter and instructional strategies
• Strong classroom and behavioral management capabilities
• Ability to create and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
• Proficient with formative assessment and differentiated instruction
• Must complete all Pennsylvania clearances before the start date
• Reliable transportation required for consistent onsite attendance
• Comfortable working in district and location as specified

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to elementary students identified for special education services
• Develop and maintain effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment
• Utilize a wide range of teaching tools and resources to promote student achievement
• Communicate regularly with colleagues and families to support each learner’s progress
• Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in interactions and reporting
