Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a thriving elementary school setting near Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to work collaboratively with other educators while providing high-quality instruction and guidance to students with diverse needs. You’ll play a key role in shaping individualized educational experiences that foster both academic and personal growth.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required (needed for emergency teaching permit)
• Must hold active certification or licensure appropriate to the caseload
• Demonstrated school-based experience, especially in an urban setting
• Completion of all relevant Pennsylvania clearances prior to employment
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills are essential
• Reliable transportation is necessary to arrive onsite on time daily
• Comfortable adhering to established curriculum, standards, and location-specific expectations
• Ability to work consistently and reliably during the school’s hours: 8:30AM–4:00PM, Monday–Friday (35 hours weekly)
• Skilled in differentiating instruction and utilizing formative assessment to guide learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging special education instruction in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Develop clear, effective lesson plans using mastery of subject matter and instructional best practices
• Utilize diverse materials and resources to meet the individualized needs of students
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture with strong behavioral support
• Communicate regularly with faculty, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes

Additional Details:

• Full-time, contract assignment with one opening
• Immediate start through June 10, 2027
