The ideal candidate will handle multiple administrative tasks, work with diverse personalities, and manage conflicting priorities. Job Title and Department Account Executive, Sales Summary Develop, sell, and maintain business accounts for multiple radio stations and multimedia platforms. Key duties include: Makes daily sales calls to prospective and existing clients, presenting outlines of various programs or commercial announcements. Conducts customer needs analysis and advises on advertising positions across radio, websites, digital display screens, and other media platforms. Develops new business accounts, initiates daily cold calls, writes and presents professional proposals, and researches and collects data. Prepares, renews, and signs contracts correctly and completely with managers and clients. Writes copy and production orders, attends client remotes, and assists in set‑up and break‑down when necessary. Picks up and drops off materials for and to clients, collects account balances regularly, and communicates projections and collections with management. Plans additional advertising ideas and coordinates with production, promotions, and traffic departments for radio promotional needs and account changes. Submits daily sales activity reports and call lists, attends weekly sales meetings, and maintains company confidentiality. Innovation – Displays original thinking, resourcefulness, and proposes ideas that capture attention. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university, or two to four years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; write proposals, business correspondence, and contracts; present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public; read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills Working knowledge of Internet software, Windows‑based spreadsheet software, and Windows‑based word processing software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must keep a current valid driver’s license and proof of insurance and have reliable personal transportation. Other Qualifications Workday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, minus lunch, with possible modification by departmental management. Must be able to travel in‑state without significant prior notification. Physical Demands Must drive extensively and spend long periods of time at a computer and on the phone. Work Environment Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and moderate noise levels. #J-18808-Ljbffr
