Crew Chiefs receive training for different roles and can progress within the company. This position offers leadership experience and development opportunities, whether you pursue a full career or a temporary role. How You Will Drive Success Work directly with the General Manager to ensure consistent revenue growth by increasing guest count and lead measure performance (core sales mix, MultiCare, Core Plus) Coach and execute excellent customer service, creating an exceptional guest experience Set a positive example as a leader while building team engagement and efficiency Develop teammates through internal training programs, providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction Ensure quality control measures and processes are followed consistently Carry out other duties and projects such as inventory, cash handling processes, guest issues, and critical initiatives with the District Manager Assist the General Manager with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, expense controls, and more Provide clear and detailed direction to the team consistently Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable service center per the Guide to Excellence (GTE) Guide and mentor automotive technicians and CSAs Perform opening and closing duties when the General Manager is off Help build and maintain an engaged workforce that matches customer volume and business needs Lead daily team huddles and store meetings, setting direction for business goals Manage inventory and product orders to meet business needs Adhere to and hold others accountable to all rules and regulations maintaining a safe and productive environment Assist guests with their questions and needs, in person, electronically, or via telephone Under the Hood – What You’ll Need One to three years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience is not required Exceptional oral and written communication skills A proven leader who can inspire and motivate diverse groups of people Sound business sense and a comprehensive understanding of the retail industry Ability to analyze, comprehend, and recommend financial objectives that help increase sales and service results Positive, helpful attitude and professional conduct always Enthusiasm for and vigor within a fast‑paced, flexible, high‑performance retail environment “Guest First” mindset Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Physical ability to stand on feet on hard surfaces like concrete, and to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes Perform all other duties as assigned or needed At least 18 years of age Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future Equal Employment Opportunity We are a proud equal‑opportunity employer.
