Two contract positions are available for skilled Occupational Therapists to make a significant difference from ASAP through June 10. Youll provide essential services to a caseload of 50-60 students across four schools, all within onsite settingsvirtual services are not accepted.

Working in collaboration with educational teams, youll deliver both individual and small group therapies, with some push-in support to classrooms. Service frequency is determined by each students IEP ranging from weekly to monthly 30-minute sessions. The consistent schedule runs from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, ensuring your expertise fits seamlessly into the school day.

Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current OT license/certification for Alabama (proof required)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to develop and adapt treatment plans based on IEP requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessment of student needs
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Document progress and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with teachers and families to reinforce carryover of skills
• Foster a supportive, inclusive relationship with students
