Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other health conditions using evidence-based methodologies.
• Establish detailed and individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques—including exercise, stretching, and hands-on therapy—to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and modify plans based on patient needs and therapeutic outcomes.
• Reassess and redefine therapeutic goals as necessary to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
• Guide patients and their families in the use of assistive devices to support recovery and independence.
• Provide training for patients, caregivers, and interprofessional team members on effective physical therapy practices.
• Maintain current professional knowledge by participating in workshops, reviewing literature, and networking within the physical therapy community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population ranging from young children to older adults. You will work with individuals facing various physical challenges, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to adapt treatment methods to cater to different ages and functional abilities will be pivotal in supporting patients' physical and emotional recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and word processing.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
