Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and craft tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address individual patient conditions and promote recovery.
• Instruct patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, daily activities, and assistive device usage to maximize mobility and functional independence.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment modifications, and overall response to care in compliance with local and national regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to create cohesive and effective treatment strategies tailored to patients' needs.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care approaches to avoid re-injury, including self-management and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe treatment environment for staff and patients alike.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological impairments. Your rehabilitation expertise will directly influence their recovery timelines and overall satisfaction. You will support patients of various ages, ensuring that each individual's needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license issued by the state of California is required.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to provide effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
