Work Environment

This position is situated onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center in Sacramento—a vibrant city known for its rich history and commitment to improving health outcomes. The facility provides a full range of therapeutic services and is designed to foster collaboration among healthcare professionals. With a work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, this role supports a balanced work-life dynamic while allowing for substantial engagement with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' physical health and functional capabilities through comprehensive evaluations, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Develop tailored treatment plans addressing the unique needs and personal goals of each patient, applying various interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Implement patient-specific therapeutic sessions and monitor progress, making necessary modifications to treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations.
• Document treatment activities, outcomes, and patient responses in our electronic health record system accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and case managers, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding injury prevention, home exercise programs, and the use of assistive devices, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to continue their recovery independently.
• Engage in professional development through workshops, conferences, and continuing education to remain current on best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is focused primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, which may include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients.
• Basic computer and electronic health record proficiency.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply to benefit from our mentorship program.
• Experience in managing diverse patient populations and understanding various treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 – 110,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
