Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Guide patients through specific exercise regimens, utilizing various techniques such as therapeutic massage, manual therapy, and stretching exercises to promote healing.
• Regularly observe and document patient progress before, during, and after treatment sessions, providing detailed reports to the supervising physical therapist to modify care plans as necessary.
• Utilize adaptive devices and equipment, such as walkers and therapeutic modalities, to aid patient mobility and improve functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families about effective self-care techniques and rehabilitation goals achievable after treatment, fostering independence and confidence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on complex cases and contribute to a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Mentor and train newer staff on technical skills and best practices, ensuring high standards of care are maintained throughout the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations and enhance patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A valid California PTA License and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions with a solid understanding of physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
