Our practice focuses on orthopedic outpatient care, primarily catering to individuals covered by private medical insurance. We take pride in our state-of-the-art equipment and advanced treatment methodologies that ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Sacramento facility, which features an array of therapeutic spaces designed for optimal patient recovery. You will join a team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who collaborate daily to ensure a supportive and dynamic treatment atmosphere. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life equilibrium.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities aimed at optimizing patient care:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual goals and therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to each patient, utilizing a range of modalities including hands-on manual therapy techniques.
• Create and manage tailored treatment plans that address mobility issues through progressive exercises and rehabilitation protocols.
• Monitor patient progress continually, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, and documenting changes meticulously.
• Educate patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to empower them in their recovery process.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation sessions to enhance engagement and achieve functional goals.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By focusing on outpatient care with personalized treatment plans, we aim to maximize our patients' functional abilities and promote a proactive approach to health and wellness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Sacramento, California
• An unblemished professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures
• Strong competencies in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinic setting
• A proven track record of developing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs

Compensation and Benefits
