About the Organization

West Valley Physical Therapy Services operates out of a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility in Sacramento, renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality care across a range of orthopedic conditions. Our practice extends primarily to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our focus is on delivering tailored, effective treatments. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, committed to creating a positive therapeutic environment.

Work Environment

Located in the heart of Sacramento, our outpatient office offers a welcoming and well-equipped workspace designed for optimal patient care. You will work onsite during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. The facility includes modern equipment to facilitate various therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and objectives of each patient.
• Effectively manage a caseload averaging one patient per hour, ensuring timely and quality treatments.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a broad range of modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Monitor and document patient progress with meticulous records to track treatment effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly.
• Educate and motivate patients by explaining their treatment plans and progress clearly, encouraging their engagement in recovery goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among clients by focusing on improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all treatments and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare policies and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries to individuals progressing through post-operative recovery and elderly patients improving mobility for everyday activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clean professional history with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with demonstrated knowledge of manual therapy techniques and progressive exercise programming.
• a strong background in developing and tailoring treatment plans that effectively cater to individual patient needs.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

West Valley Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
