Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position in Rehabilitation Center

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries and improve their mobility and quality of life. Your expertise will support our goal of providing exceptional outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services.

Work Environment

Located in a vibrant area of Sacramento, our rehabilitation center offers a welcoming onsite work environment where you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including two other physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The center is designed to ensure comfort and efficiency in patient care, providing access to necessary equipment and technology to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the specific goals and rehabilitation needs of each patient to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload where you will typically see one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized care.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide effective interventions and rehabilitation strategies.
• Implement evidence-based and cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving patients' mobility and reducing their reliance on medications.
• Educate patients on their conditions and therapies to encourage active participation in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Document treatment interventions, patient responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately in our EMR system, primarily WebPT.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their rehabilitation programs, instilling encouragement and positivity throughout their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We work with a diverse range of clients, from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to post-operative patients requiring rehabilitation. Your role will have a significant impact on their recovery trajectories, helping them regain their mobility, strength, and function.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Possess a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop customized exercise protocols.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings with a demonstrated history of positive patient outcomes.
• Expertise in utilizing therapeutic modalities and understanding anatomical and physiological principles in rehabilitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
