Work Environment

This position is onsite, primarily within the setting of home care, allowing you to engage with patients in their familiar environments. Working from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships with your patients while helping them recover and improve their physical well-being. Our work facility is equipped with the latest technology to support your efforts in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and supervise therapeutic exercises, including manual therapy techniques and modalities, to optimize recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention strategies and home exercise programs to encourage ongoing health maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including physicians and chiropractors, to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interactions in compliance with state regulations and clinic standards, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in physical therapy to continually improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vital Core, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, focusing on individuals with orthopedic injuries ranging from post-surgical recovery to sports rehabilitation. Your practice will address a variety of issues including strains, sprains, fractures, and chronic pain, ensuring that each patient receives care that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A licensed Physical Therapist in California or eligibility to obtain a license.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent educational background.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy competencies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation.
• Experience with advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits
