Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist for Rehabilitation Facility

Position Overview

SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. This full-time role will allow you to engage with patients as they strive to reclaim their mobility and enhance their overall function. As an integral member of our rehabilitation facility, you will be responsible for delivering specialized care within an orthopedic outpatient practice.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation facility, you will work in an onsite environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. Our supportive team consists of two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), providing a vibrant atmosphere where your contributions are valued. You will benefit from a predictable work schedule, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of essential duties aimed at optimizing patient care:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized therapeutic objectives.
• Manage an efficient caseload, seeing one patient per hour for focused, quality care.
• Craft comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a diverse range of therapeutic modalities.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate and accessible records.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare colleagues to enhance patient outcomes and coordinate care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Champion health and wellness initiatives that promote strength, mobility, and overall patient wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance and are seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Our patient demographic includes a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, reflecting our community's needs and the variety of treatment approaches necessary to cater to each individual's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) being strongly preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clear professional record, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT or similar software, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings. Familiarity with developing individualized exercise programs and using evidence-based practices to drive treatment success is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
