Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology and rehabilitation equipment. We specialize in serving a diverse patient population, primarily those with private medical insurance, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and effective treatment.

Work Environment

Based in Sacramento, CA, our rehabilitation center fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued. You will work alongside a dedicated team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing evidence-based care. Our practice operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional capabilities and limitations to identify goals and treatment requirements.
• Efficiently manage a patient load of one patient per hour, delivering high-quality therapy tailored to individual needs.
• Implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans that draw from a broad range of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and specific exercise regimens to enhance patients' mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess care plans as necessary, and maintain clear, detailed documentation of treatments provided.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to encourage adherence to therapy protocols and enhance functional capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and provide holistic care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes by recommending fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Communicate openly and effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment processes, expectations, and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect mobility. You will work with patients who typically have private insurance coverage and are eager to restore their physical abilities. We pride ourselves on our proactive approach, aiming not just to treat symptoms but also to address root causes and facilitate overall health improvement.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record and no board actions.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to the orthopedic field.
• Proficiency in digital documentation and EMR software, preferably WebPT.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to create rapport with patients and staff.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on manual therapy techniques.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing exercise regimens aimed at rehabilitation and injury prevention.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice models and methodologies relevant to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
