Description

• Create individualized treatment plans targeting short-term goals while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a spectrum of healthcare professionals including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop unified care plans.
• Equip patients and their families with knowledge to foster ongoing progress beyond your clinical sessions.
• Provide inpatient speech therapy assessments when needed, ensuring a holistic continuity of care for your patients.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in speech pathology through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of joining.
