Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) are needed for two forthcoming maternity leave assignments. These roles provide the chance to work on-site within supportive school environments, collaborating with other professionals, and serving a diverse range of students.

Assignment Details:

• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Each SLP assigned to one location
• Palm Pointe K-8: Covering a K-8 caseload including several ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) units, alongside another SLP. Assignment runs October 5 through December 18.
• Fort Pierce Central High School: Managing high school students with the support of an SLPA on-site two days per week. Assignment runs September through October 20.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCCs
• Active Florida SLP license required
• Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including ASD
• Ability to complete district-required fingerprinting; expedited if previously printed via AHCA Clearinghouse

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and support for speech-language needs
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Ensure thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district standards
