We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job DescriptionJob DetailsBase Pay Rate $21.00 per hour2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM-3:30 AM (Friday overtime as needed)Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a vinyl window assembler you will meticulously assemble the components of vinyl windows using various tools and machinery, ensuring all parts are properly fitted together according to specifications, while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols in a production line setting.Responsibilities:Read work ordersAttach frame sections, install glass panes, and secure hardware using hand and power tools such as screw gunsInspect completed windows for defects like gaps, misalignment, and damage, ensuring they meet quality standardsFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Work within established timelines to meet daily production goalsCrosstrain across different production linesPrepare finished products for shipmentMaintain a clean and orderly work areaQualificationsManual dexterity: Ability to handle small parts with precision and perform repetitive tasksAttention to detail: Meticulously inspect each window for quality issuesBasic mechanical skills: Understanding of hand and power toolsReading comprehension: Ability to read and interpret work ordersTeamwork: Collaborate effectively with other assembly team members.Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fieldsAbility to be fluid across production linesPhysical Ability: Standing for extended periods of time with repetitive motionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
