Accounts Receivable Clerk

Key Responsibilities Cash Application: Process daily cash receipts, wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks with high accuracy. Invoicing & Statements: Generate and distribute customer invoices, monthly statements, and credit memos. Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify past-due accounts, and contact clients regarding overdue payments. Dispute Resolution: Investigate payment discrepancies, research short-pays, and coordinate dispute resolutions with the sales or customer service teams. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger, balancing daily and monthly transaction logs. Qualifications Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience. Education: High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus. Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with major accounting software or ERP systems. Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, keen attention to detail, and effective time management.
