Customer Service Representative

Contract Length: 3 Months – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Location: Huntersville, NC Work Setup: On-site Pay Rate: $18/hour W2 no benefits

Join a customer-focused team where you'll support accurate order processing and deliver excellent service across multiple communication channels. The Customer Service Representative will receive approximately two weeks of on-the-job training (OJT), initially spending about 80% of the day entering orders into an ERP system before expanding into email, phone, and live chat support.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and process customer orders in the ERP system with minimal to zero errors.
• Answer customer calls and provide professional assistance with a variety of inquiries.
• Respond to customers through email and live chat.
• Work toward one-touch resolutions by resolving customer needs in the fewest interactions possible.
• Run reports and proactively process customer orders that are on hold.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently answer product-related questions.
• Resolve customer complaints while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

Customer Service Representative Qualifications

Critical Qualifications:

• 2+ years of meaningful work experience preferred, ideally in customer service, retail, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced call center/customer service environment.
• Ability to identify business-critical issues and adjust priorities as needs change.

Customer Service Representative Preferred Skills

• 1+ year of Microsoft Office 365 experience, particularly Teams and Outlook.
• 6–12 months of data entry experience or the ability to quickly learn data-entry processes.
• Strong work ethic, critical-thinking skills, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and take on additional responsibilities.

This Customer Service Representative role is a 3-month, on-site W2 contract paying $18/hour with no benefits, with the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right fit.
