If you’re excited to help shape the future of curated commerce at the intersection of technology, culture, and taste, we’d love to meet you.About the Role:We're looking for a Director of Strategic Alliances to expand ShopMy's partner ecosystem by sourcing, structuring, and closing high-impact strategic relationships — with a particular focus on agency and platform partnerships. Similar to our sales roles, this position owns a defined book of opportunities, but focused on partnerships rather than brand subscriptions.You'll manage the full alliance lifecycle, from outbound identification and first conversations through deal close and launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure partnerships deliver meaningful business impact. You understand how agencies think, how media buying decisions get made, and how to position ShopMy as a must-have platform within holding groups and independent agency networks.Your Impact to the Role:Source and pursue new strategic alliance opportunities across agency holding groups, independent agencies, and measurement and technology platformsOwn a pipeline of partnership opportunities from first contact through close — from cold outreach through signed agreements and go-liveBuild and manage senior-level relationships with agency partners including planning, investment, and strategy leads across major holding companiesLead negotiations and structure agreements with clear performance expectationsDevelop joint go-to-market strategies with agency partners that drive brand and creator adoption on ShopMyPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to launch and scale new alliancesBuild relationships with measurement platforms to strengthen ShopMy's performance marketing storyYou Are Energized By:Building agency relationships from scratch and turning them into durable, revenue-generating programsOwning outcomes and being accountable to defined goalsOperating at the intersection of media, technology, and commerce — where no two deals look the sameIdentifying whitespace in the market and moving quickly to close itWhat We're Looking For:7–10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, agency sales, or business development — with meaningful time spent working directly with agencies or holding companiesA track record of sourcing and closing new partnership deals — not just managing existing relationshipsDeep familiarity with how media agencies operate, including planning, buying, and measurement workflowsExperience working across affiliate platforms such as Impact, CJ, Rakuten, or Skimlinks is a strong plusStrong negotiation skills and executive presence — you can hold a room with a Group VP or Managing DirectorExperience operating in roles with ownership over targets or quotasBonus Points:Background in ad tech, MarTech, publisher partnerships, or the creator economyExisting relationships across agency holding groups Familiarity with affiliate or performance-driven business modelsExperience building a partnerships program or function from scratchIn compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown. New York Pay Range$145,000—$185,000 USDThe provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
