Inventory Control Clerk

We are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for performing and keying cycle counts, working with leadership to analyze operations cycle counts, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Our minimum qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.

Our preferred qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, and internal departments.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.

Your responsibilities:

• Participation in inventory counts as directed.
• Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the companys standards.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Load dunnage, maintain inventory.
• Maintains inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
• Provides inventory reports on discrepancies to inventory control Supervisor.
• Implements loss prevention programs.
• Resolve discrepancies including quantity errors, high/low issues, mis-shipments.
• Understand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplace.
• Operates forklift when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Physical requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to forty pounds at a time.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.
