We are seeking a hands-on contract ERP Implementation Project Coordinator to support a manufacturing organization through the final stages of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and December go-live. This role will focus heavily on developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with new processes and workflows resulting from the Business Central implementation. The consultant will also provide hands-on project support, helping drive action items to completion and taking ownership of a variety of implementation-related tasks as needs arise.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who is comfortable working across functions, organizing information, documenting processes, following up on outstanding items, and doing whatever is needed to help keep the implementation moving toward go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and organize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and revised processes resulting from the D365 Business Central implementation.
• Meet with process owners and subject matter experts to understand current and future-state workflows and translate them into clear, usable documentation.
• Assist with managing and completing an implementation action-item task list.
• Track open items, owners, due dates, dependencies, and completion status and proactively follow up to keep work moving.
• Provide hands-on support for implementation tasks that may fall outside traditional project management responsibilities.
• Assist with documenting business processes, workflows, decisions, and system-related procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and functional teams as needed.
• Identify gaps or unresolved items that could impact implementation readiness and escalate them appropriately.
• Support testing, training documentation, data/process validation, and other go-live readiness activities as needed.
• Help ensure required documentation and operational processes are in place prior to the December go-live.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or significant business-process transformation .
• Strong experience writing SOPs, process documentation, work instructions, or similar operational documentation .
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage a large number of simultaneous action items.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and learning operational processes.
• Ability to work independently, identify what needs to be done, and take tasks through completion.
• Strong communication skills and ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and turn it into clear documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred; experience with another ERP implementation may also be considered.
• Manufacturing ERP/process experience is strongly preferred.
