Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that directly contribute to the mental health of your clients:

• Perform detailed client interviews to gather and interpret critical information related to their social, personal, environmental, and health-related backgrounds.

• Engage in thorough assessments to identify and address issues within the purview of mental health, focusing on strategies that align with students' emotional and social growth.

• Develop and coordinate tailored programs and interventions that cater specifically to the emotional needs of students.

• Implement cognitive, affective, and behavioral health strategies, including crisis intervention and connecting clients with community resources as needed.

• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of provided treatment services to enhance outcomes.

• Maintain diligent records and documentation, ensuring everything is up-to-date and reflects the scope of services rendered.

• Manage an appropriate caseload while delivering individualized clinical counseling efficiently and effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on fostering the mental health of children and adolescents, typically within school settings. The client population includes students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, family crises, and other mental health concerns. Our LCSWs work collaboratively with educational staff to ensure a holistic approach to student wellness, thereby directly impacting their academic and social success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the mental health field or closely related domains.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience in counseling regarding behavioral mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, substance dependence, family therapy, grief, and loss.
