Work Environment

As an Onsite Physical Therapist at Fountain Hills Fitness Center, you will work in a supportive and collaborative rehabilitation setting. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic modalities to facilitate patient recovery. The standard workweek consists of Monday through Friday, incorporating 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by their physicians to determine their needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient healing including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and modalities as per the physician's plan of care.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, fostering a positive patient experience that contributes to the overall effectiveness of care delivery.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes and recovery trajectories.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies to enhance their understanding of the healing process.
• Meet and maintain minimum utilization goals as well as contribute towards the clinic's business objectives.

The patient demographic at Fountain Hills Fitness Center includes individuals with orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Our therapy services are tailored to address the unique challenges of each client, with an emphasis on restoring function and improving quality of life. Your role will involve direct interaction with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, necessitating strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, complemented by effective word processing and computer capabilities.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly within orthopedic therapy, will be advantageous. The ability to build rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and enthusiasm for their recovery, is essential. Experience in community outreach or initiatives that promote health and physical fitness is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Fountain Hills Fitness Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to base compensation, we provide various full benefits, including:
