Real Estate Attorney – Transactional & Litigation

Morgan Legal Group, P.C. is seeking a highly qualified Real Estate Attorney with 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in both transactional and litigation matters within the real estate practice area. This role is designed for an attorney who can provide immediate and effective support to a high-volume real estate practice handling sophisticated transactions, disputes, and development projects throughout New York City and Westchester County .
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review residential and commercial real estate contracts, leases, and financing documentation
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including title disputes, landlord-tenant proceedings, and contract enforcement actions
- Conduct legal due diligence, title review, and support real estate closings
- Manage litigation matters from initiation through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, and court appearances
- Address zoning, land use, and municipal permitting matters in coordination with applicable governmental agencies
- Advise clients on property rights, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies related to real estate transactions
- Collaborate with developers, lenders, brokers, and internal legal teams on complex, multi-party real estate matters
- Maintain organized and accurate case files while ensuring compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Remain informed of developments in New York real estate law, housing regulations, and relevant judicial decisions
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of legal experience practicing real estate law, including both transactional and litigation matters
- Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
- Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced legal environment
- Proficiency with New York real estate and litigation platforms, including NYSCEF, eCourts, and title/closing software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to client service
