Cardiac Social Worker

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Social Work Clinician (MSW) to join a leading academic medical center in Emeryvill e , CA . This is a great opportunity for early-career social workers or those working toward LCSW licensure to gain hands-on inpatient experience in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital setting. This a medical role, not a mental health role. We're looking for more than two years of inpatient, cardiology experience. At an academic medical center would be the cherry on top! Also need someone with recent EPIC experience.

About the Role

This MSW-level role supports patients and families navigating complex medical conditions in an inpatient setting. You'll partner with interdisciplinary teams to provide psychosocial support, care coordination, and discharge planning.

This role required recent inpatient hospital experience and EPIC proficiency , along with the ability to start quickly. This a medical role, not a mental health role. We are looking for more than two years of inpatient, cardiology experience. At an academic medical center would be ideal.

Pay

The anticipated wage for this position is between $51 and $55 per hour. Hourly rate depends on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of inpatient hospital experience in a cardiology setting

• EPIC experience is required

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-based setting

• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program OR within 45 days of completion

• If pending graduation, must provide program confirmation and obtain MSW within 45 days of hire

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments

• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support

• Coordinate care and discharge planning

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams

• Connect patients and families with community resources

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Manage a caseload in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Pay Details: $51.00 to $55.00 per hour
