VP, Global Shared Services

Strategy and Operations Define and lead the global HR Shared Services strategy, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement Oversee HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability Establish and manage service delivery standards, including SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps to modernize and scale HR shared services globally Continuously assess and evolve the operating model to meet changing business and workforce needs Process and Technology Design and implement scalable, efficient HR processes and service delivery models Lead the evolution of the HR technology ecosystem to enable automation, self-service, and an improved employee experience Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce complexity Identify and implement opportunities for digital enablement and process optimization Data, Compliance and Governance Ensure data integrity, security, and governance across all HR systems and processes Maintain compliance with global employment laws, regulations, and data privacy requirements Leverage data and analytics to generate insights, inform decisions, and improve operational performance Establish controls and standards that ensure consistency and mitigate risk globally Leadership and Partnership Build, lead, and develop a high performing global HR Shared Services and HRIS organization Lead through other leaders, scaling capability, accountability, and impact across regions Partner closely with HR centers of excellence, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional leaders including IT, Finance, and Legal Serve as a strategic advisor on HR operations, shared services, and employee experience Navigate global complexity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, regions, and business units What We’re Looking For Experience 10+ years of experience in HR operations or related fields, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles Proven experience leading global HR shared services or operations functions in complex, matrixed organizations Proven ability to lead through leaders and scale high performing global teams Experience driving multi-year transformation roadmaps, including process, technology, and service delivery evolution Demonstrated success managing global complexity across regions, regulatory environments, and stakeholder groups Experience operating within a tiered Shared Services model, including self-service, case management, and SLA-driven environments Strong understanding of global employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices Skills and Attributes Strategic and systems thinker with the ability to design and scale HR operations Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner at senior levels Deep expertise in HR systems, process optimization, and service delivery models Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence Benefits Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits Career success on your terms Flexible work environment Annual wellness and community outreach days Recognition for your contributions Global collaboration and networking opportunities Proofpoint is an equal opportunity employer.
