Accounting Manager

We have partnered with a growing organization in Tampa to identify an experienced, hands‑on Accounting Manager to take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting operations. Responsibilities: Take ownership of full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close activities Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reporting packages, and account analyses to support leadership decision‑making Oversee daily accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and balance sheet management Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong documentation Maintain strong internal controls, accounting procedures, and audit‑ready documentation Support external audit, tax, and compliance activities through accurate reporting and organized financial records Provide guidance, mentorship, and quality review for accounting team members while promoting accountability and professional growth Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, automate processes, and increase operational efficiency Assist with accounting system improvements and initiatives that enhance scalability and financial visibility Qualifications & Requirements: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of full‑cycle accounting responsibilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close processes Previous supervisory, mentoring, or team leadership experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Rello Search Partners
