As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to activity across assigned areas. This driving post requires a valid in-state driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document the movement of authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying designated facility personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete clear and accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervisors and authorized facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
