Product Service Engineer

Payrate: $53.00 - $54.00/hr.


Summary:
Serve as a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative contributor who translates complex data into actionable insights that support cost leadership and competitive advantage. This role involves managing "out-of-process" orders for NPI programs, driving cost reduction initiatives, and preparing executive-ready summaries to highlight risks and opportunities.


Responsibilities:

• Manage NPI readiness by developing visual readiness reports to track progress, risks, and key actions.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives across product groups through should-cost analysis, order quantity optimization, and multi-source arbitrage.
• Prepare clear, concise, executive-ready summaries that highlight risks, savings opportunities, readiness status, and performance metrics.
• Create dashboards to monitor project/program health and identify trends in data.
• Present findings and recommendations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, data analytics, or a related field with 4 or more years of related experience.
• Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field with 2 or more years of related experience.
• Associates' degree in engineering, business administration, data analytics, or a related field with 6-8 years of related experience.
• Relevant past roles include Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Business Procurement.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (Vlookups, Xlookups, pivot tables, charts, graphs), and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read part numbers and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Project leadership and process improvement capabilities.
• Collaborative and data-driven mindset.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $53.00 - $54.00 /hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
