Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and family therapy sessions remotely, using advanced telehealth technology to create a comfortable and engaging therapeutic environment. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals, regularly reviewing progress and making necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills during critical situations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated care and refer clients to additional resources as needed. Adhere to all applicable ethical guidelines and regulations, ensuring that your practice aligns with the standards set forth by the licensing board. Patient Population / Client Focus This position involves working with a diverse population encompassing individuals and families facing a myriad of challenges, including relationship issues, parenting struggles, mental health concerns, and life transitions. You will be expected to employ culturally competent therapeutic approaches to address the unique backgrounds and situations of each client, fostering a space where they feel understood and supported. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland. Proven experience in delivering therapy services remotely, utilizing technology to enhance client engagement and care. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients quickly. Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining a high standard of care. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, falling within the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually. Preferred Experience Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems to track client progress and treatment outcomes. Familiarity with best practices in teletherapy and virtual counseling methodologies. Previous experience in a community health or similar environment, providing care to underserved populations.
